This 238-acre veterans retreat opened in the spring of 2015 and serves as a place for veterans and their families to relax and enjoy time away in a country setting. Our veterans enjoy home cooked meals and bed and breakfast style lodging that is completely free of charge. The main house has 7 bedrooms, a dining room, family room, living room, and large fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. The estate is wheelchair accessible on the main floor. A full-time caretaker /manager will be on site 24/7 to support vets and their families.
The estate's caretakers and a dedicated team of volunteers are what make this weekend getaway such a special place for our countries wounded and combat action heroes.
Brave Hearts Estate has a Caretaker/Manager on-site 24/7 to support the veteran guests and their families.

United States Navy Veteran, R.W. Considine, donated the estate to Operation Injured Soldiers on November 11, 2014. He had a true passion for helping others and enjoyed knowing the healing and relaxing effects could make a difference in the veteran's lives. Something about the peaceful surrounding of the estate have helped the mind and souls of many of our guests.
Since R.W.'s passing, postcards are still being mailed to his family as they share the same love for our countries heroes.
A memorial for R.W. was held on September 13, 2021, at the estate to honor this generous supporter. At the memorial, a monument was placed near the pond behind the estate to honor R.W. for his generous contribution to helping us honor our heroes and give something back to those who sacrificed so much for our country.
